Among the 77 calls for medical and fire-rescue service the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department received Jan. 22-29 were the following:
Kent Avenue, 500 block, 6:53 p.m. Jan. 27. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer station and Catonsville and Halethorpe career stations responded to the report of an unconscious person in Catonsville. One critically ill person taken to a local hospital.
Selford Road at Sulphur Spring Road, 1:05 p.m. Jan. 27. Crews responded to the report of power lines down in Arbutus and secured the hazard.
Southwestern Boulevard, 4300 block, 6:00 a.m. Jan. 27. Crews responded to the report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Arbutus. One seriously injured person taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Council Street, 5500 block, 4:31 p.m. Jan. 25. Crews responded to the report of a flooded basement in Arbutus and removed several feet of water from the basement.
Edmondson Avenue, 1900 block, 8:47 a.m. Jan. 25. Crews responded to the report of a person having fallen in Catonsville. One seriously injured person taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
