The National Weather Service is calling for Thursday to be cloudy in the Baltimore, with rain likely after 1 p.m., a high near 50 and east winds between 3 and 7 miles per hour. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Thursday night is expected to be rainy, with temperatures rising to around 54 by 3 a.m. and south winds between 7 and 14 miles per hour. The chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New rainfall amounts between one tenth of an inch and one quarter of an inch are possible.

A small craft advisory is in effect Thursday night for the Maryland portion of the Chesapeake Bay and the tidal Potomac River.

Friday is expected to be rainy, mainly before 10 a.m., with temperatures falling to around 48 and west winds between 13 and 22 miles per hour, gusting as high as 34 miles per hour. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New rainfall amounts between one quarter of an inch and one half of an inch are possible.

Friday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 35 and west winds between 10 and 13 miles per hour or less.
