Perry Hall fire displaces 12

No injuries in Arlen Road blaze

Twelve people were displaced Sunday night by a two-alarm fire at a Perry Hall apartment complex, Baltimore County fire officials said. No one was injured.

The fire broke out around 7 p.m. on a third-floor balcony in the first block of Arlen Road, and required 70 firefighters to bring under control, said Capt. Ross Cooke. Several pets were rescued.

The fire damaged six of the 12 units. Cooke said the property management company was arranging alternate housing for the six affected families.
