Mountain Club

The Mountain Club of Maryland conducts hikes, overnight and camping trips and maintains trails.

Sat., Jan. 21, Overall Run, Shenandoah National Park: This is 13-mile hike on the Tuscarora Trail from outside park boundary to Overall Run Trail. 410-889-8225.

Sat., Jan. 21 Loch Raven Reservoir, Merryman Trail: An out-and-back hike along several scenic Loch Raven trails. Some rocky hills. 410-299-8833.

Sun., Jan. 22, Darlington Trail: This out-and-back hike starts at Lambs Gap and follows the Darlington trail west to the intersection with the Appalachian and Tuscarora trails. Then hike heads south on the AT to the Cumberland valley overlook, then returns north on the AT to the Darlington shelter for lunch. 805-300-4698.
