Laurel police report felonies, arrests and property crimes. Prince George's County police report violent crimes and property crimes. Anne Arundel County police report major crimes. Howard County police report major crimes, break-ins and car thefts.

City of Laurel

Ninth Street, 200 block, Jan. 11. Police on routine patrol observed riding lawn mower tractor and snow blower outside building, and identified them as items reported stolen Jan. 8 from St. Mark's United Methodist Church. Stolen items returned to church.

Fourth Street, 14800 block, Jan. 11. Tire and rim stolen from car.

Baltimore Avenue, 14100 block, Jan. 11. Laurel man, 21, arrested and released on criminal citation pending court date after being apprehended by Best Buy store security officers after attempting to leave store with headphones.

Second Street, Unit block, Jan. 10. Gray four-door 2011 Toyota Camry with New York tags reported stolen after rental not returned. Police obtaining warrant.

Gorman Avenue, 700 block, Jan. 9. Entry gained into shed by forcing open door. Metal cable/conduit and electrical wiring taken.

Runabout Court, 14100 block, Jan. 9. Police attempted to stop two people in a white Honda after they were observed breaking into van and taking red generator. Honda reported stolen from Prince George's County. Honda last seen approaching Old Bowie.

Baltimore Avenue, 14800 block, Jan. 9. New York leather football jacket, CDs and medication stolen from car.

Second Street, Unit block, Jan. 7. Occupant of hotel room since October fled without paying for room. Warrant obtained charging person with theft.

Justin Way, 14000 block, Jan. 7. Purse stolen from SUV.

Bowie Road, 14700 block, Jan. 8. Assault with injury.

Laurel Bowie Road, 11800 block, Jan. 7. Theft.

Ivory Fashion Court, 12100 block, Jan. 7. Break-in report.

Snowden Oaks Place, 8400 block, Jan. 7. Theft from auto.

Kent Road, 16100 block, Jan. 6. Theft from auto.

Hunting Lane, 8800 block, Jan. 6. Stolen vehicle.

Gorman Avenue, 8100 block, Jan. 5. Stolen vehicle.

Old Stagecoach Road, 13000 block, Jan. 4. Robbery.

Fort Meade Road, 9700 block, Jan. 4. Break-in.

Anne Arundel County

Shadow Park Drive and Finchleigh Street, Jan. 12. Male youth, 11, approached by two male teenagers that he knew. One teenager had a knife and both teenagers chased the youth away from bus stop.

Howard County

Baltimore Street, 9000 block, 3:43 a.m. Jan. 16. Entry attempted at 7 Star convenience store by breaking glass front door. No entry gained.

Howard Hills Drive, 8800 block, between 3 p.m. Jan. 13 and 9 a.m. Jan. 16. Entry gained to two units by forcing windows open. Property damaged. Units appeared to have been used for party.

Washington Boulevard, 10000 block, 7:48 a.m. Jan. 15. Blue Hyundai Sonata stolen.

Montpelier Road, 7500 block, 8:30 p.m. Jan. 13. Two males entered Exxon gas station, one of whom had a gun and knife and demanded cash before fleeing with money.

Barrel House Road, 9600 block, between Jan. 9 and 5:32 p.m. Jan. 10. White 2002 Honda Accord stolen.
