A wintry mix is expected this weekend with snow flurries beginning early Saturday, turning into rain, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service said.
A high-pressure system is expected to bring cold air into the area, as temperatures dip to a low around 32 degrees Friday night. The system is expected to be followed by a low-pressure system, bringing in higher temperatures and cutting chances for any snow accumulation, said meteorologist Carrie Suffern.
