A fire in a West Baltimore home on Sunday slightly burned one person, a fire department spokesman said.

Firefighters were dispatched at about 11:45 a.m. to 140 Edgewood St. and brought a blaze there under control by 12:13 p.m., according to Chief Kevin Cartwright.

The burn was not life-threatening and was being treated by paramedics at the scene, Cartwright said. The cause of the fire was under investigation, he said.
