Classical concert The Sundays at Three Chamber Music Series presents the Gemini Piano Trio at 3 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, 6800 Oakland Mills Road in Columbia. Workshop The Office of Children's Services will conduct "More New Age Challenges for Parents of Adolescents," a discussion panel on maintaining open communication with middle and high school-age children. The free workshop is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Bain Center, 5470 Ruth Keeton Way in Columbia. The panel will include representatives from local community programs and student speakers, and address a range of topics, including managing anger, dating and relationships, promoting positive self-esteem, and sibling rivalry. After the panel presentations, parents will have the opportunity to take part in an open discussion or submit questions anonymously. School news The Board of Education will meet at 4 p.m. at the Department of Education, 10910 Route 108 in Ellicott City. Both the afternoon session and an evening session, which convenes at 7:30 p.m., will begin with a public forum, during which members of the public may address the board on any topic other than those for which a formal public hearing process exists. Domestic violence forum St. John Baptist Church will host a forum on domestic violence from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 9055 Tamar Drive, Columbia.
