Dramatic performance

Brad Sherrill performs "Red Letter Jesus" (based on Jesus' words spoken in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke) at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. Tickets are $6 and $10. Bible study

Greater Crofton Reformed Orthodox Presbyterian Church holds a weekly study class of 2 Corinthians at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays at the Cross Roads School House, 1358 Millersville Road, Millersville. New pastor

The Rev. James Bishop Sr. has been appointed to Asbury Town Neck United Methodist Church, 429 Asbury Drive in Severna Park. For the past eight years he has served as pastor of Goshen United Methodist Church in Gaithersburg. Worship services are at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sundays. All are welcome.
