Two men have been charged with murder in the shooting death of an Edgewood man, according to the Harford County sheriff's department. Christopher Curtis Alves, 21, was killed Thursday in the 1300 block of Harford Square Drive in Edgewood.

Charged Friday in Alves' murder are Joseph Andrew Nelson, 20, of Edgewater Drive in Edgewood, and Coty Lamonte Wilson, 21, of Mountain Road in Fallston, said Captain Christopher Swain. Both men are being held without bond at the Harford County Detention Center, he said.

Deputies found the pair Friday morning in Joppa in a white Cadillac that witnesses had reported seeing leave the shooting scene, according to the sheriff's department.

Conrad Gaylord, 18, of Brookside Drive in Edgewood, who was apprehended in the Cadillac with the two men, was charged with handgun violations and is being held on $50,000 bond, authorities said.
