Register now for indoor winter, spring youth soccer in Laurel

December 06, 2011

The Greater Laurel United Soccer Club is holding registration for winter and spring programs.

The GLUSC will donate $10 from each registration to an effort to build a classroom library being spearheaded by GLUSC coach and Eisenhower teacher Nulty Lynch.

Winter registration includes training with coaches from Challenger Professional British Soccer. Cost is $80 for eight training sessions. Sessions are 45 minutes of technical training followed by 30 minutes of fun, free-form indoor soccer. Sessions held at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School, 4545 Ammendale Road, Beltsville.

Discount registration for spring soccer for ages 3-18 is $85 through Feb. 28. After that date, registration fee is $125. Players do not need to live in Laurel.

Games begin April 14; practices begin end of March or early April. Most games are Saturdays, some Sunday afternoons or weeknights.
