Capitol College to hold open house in South Laurel

December 06, 2011

Capitol College will hold an open house Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for undergraduate students looking to learn more about the bachelor degree programs offered. For those looking to learn more about Capitol's graduate degree programs, an on-campus information session will be held on Dec. 13, at 6:30 p.m.

Attending an open house or information session is a way for students to see the campus, discover the state-of-the-art facilities available, learn more about the degree programs, meet faculty and staff, interact with Capitol's online learning platform and view on-campus housing options.

During the open houses, prospective students will visit the Cyber Battle Lab, where information assurance students simulate and defend against cyber attacks; the Space Operations Institute, where students monitor and observe NASA satellites in orbit; and the telecommunications and engineering labs, where students put the knowledge they've learned in classrooms to use.

The graduate information sessions detail each graduate degree program and offer students a glimpse at Capitol's online learning platform, Capitol LIVE! Attendees are also able to meet and talk with faculty members and admissions representatives.
