Ellerbe, all other Ravens accounted for Wednesday

November 30, 2011|By Jeff Zrebiec

Middle linebacker Ray Lewis, who has missed the past two games with a toe injury, did not participate in practice today.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh didn't provide any updates on Lewis today, but he acknowledged on Monday that the his leading tackler was probably the furthest away of any of the team's injured players.

Lewis was listed as a limited participant in practice leading up to last Thursday's game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Lewis was the only Raven not at today's practice in some capacity. Linebacker Dannell Ellerbe, who started against the Cincinnati Bengals in place of Lewis but missed the 49ers game with groin and hamstring injuries, practiced in full.

Defensive tackle Arthur Jones, who has missed the passed two games because of a concussion sustained during the Seattle loss, was also cleared to return to practice, and practiced in full..

Linebacker Terrell Suggs, who had his wisdom teeth pulled late last week, was also present. Cornerback Chris Carr who sat out the 49ers' game with a back injury, was a limited participant in practice today.
