Patuxent Art League exhibition opens Dec. 4

The opening and artists reception for this year's Patuxent Art League juried art exhibition is Sunday, Dec. 4 at Montpelier Arts Center, 9652 Muirkirk Road.

Reception and awards ceremony are from 2 to 4 p.m. The exhibit includes artists from Laurel and throughout Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington.

Realist painter David Buckley Good, who teaches painting and drawing at the Schuler School of Fine Arts and the Mitchell School of Fine Arts, juried the exhibit.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and the exhibition runs through Dec. 28.
