Pallotti High School holds annual tree-lighting remembrance

November 29, 2011

St. Vincent Pallotti Prep High School will hold its annual Tree of Lights ceremony Sunday, Dec. 4. Following Mass at 6:45 p.m., a prayer will be read in the outer courtyard and the tall pine Christmas tree will be illuminated. Each light on the tree represents a loved one from within the Pallotti community; red lights symbolizing the memory of a deceased loved one and white lights in honor of a living family member or friend.

Each light can be purchased and dedicated for a minimal donation of $10, or three for $25. A card noting the gift will be sent to the person or family being honored. A list of all those remembered or honored will be added to the Pallotti website, along with any personalized messages.

For more information, go to http://www.PallottiHS.org or contact Assistant Director for Advancement Nina Gass at 301-725-3228, ext. 223 or ngass@pallottihs.org.
