Laurel holiday parade hits the streets Dec. 3

The city's annual holiday parade and illumination of the outdoor decorative lights at the Laurel Armory will be held Saturday Dec. 3.

The parade begins at 5:15 p.m. from the parking lot of the Laurel Municipal Center, 8103 Sandy Spring Road. The parade route follows Sandy Spring Road to Montgomery Street, then heads east on Montgomery Street to the Laurel Armory—Anderson and Murphy Community Center, 422 Montgomery St., for an indoor holiday party.

Santa Claus will arrive for the illumination of the outdoor lights at the Armory, then head indoors for visits and photo opportunities with Mrs. Claus, Frosty and Rudolph.

The party also includes live entertainment and light refreshments.
