Toys for Tots drive-through Friday at Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps

November 22, 2011

The Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps, along with the Marine Corps Reserves and the Toys for Tots Foundation, have again designated the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps station as a drop-off location again this year. Today (Friday) will be drive-through day for Toys for Tots at the ambulance corps.

The ambulance corps is looking for new, unwrapped toys or clothing items that will be distributed to needy children in the community during this holiday season.

Last year, the ambulance corps was again the third largest Toys for Tots drop-off site in Maryland and this year members want to do better. Every year, the goal of the corps is to fill both of its medic units with new, unwrapped toys.

This year, the ambulance corps has set aside Black Friday, Nov. 25, for its drive-through drop-off day

During drop-off day from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., all you need to do is drive in to the station on Route 155 and members will be there to take your toy or clothing item — it's that easy.

The ambulance corps will also accept all new, unwrapped toys and new clothing at its station at 1601 Level Road (Route 155) seven days a week between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Look for the Toys for Tots sign.
