Micayla Bowman, of Sykesville, has been selected to become a member of Frostburg State University's President's Leadership Circle. Through this group, FSU's top leaders will steward relevant causes through their proven capabilities in the classroom and community.

Bowman is president of the Pre-Med Society, treasurer of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority and a member of the Bobcat Ambassadors. She is a chemistry major and the daughter of Chuck and Cathy Bowman.

Nathan Biondi, of Ellicott City, participated in Make A Difference Day on Oct. 22, the nation's largest day of community service. An archeology major, Biondi was among about 400 students from the University of Evansville, in Evansville, Ind., who spent the day volunteering at nonprofit organizations around Evansville.

Michael Furst, of Ellicott City, is serving as treasurer of Audio Engineering Society at Lebanon Valley College, in Annville, Pa. AES is a student-run organization that promotes activities that develop awareness and understanding in the field of audio engineering. Furst is a sophomore music recording technology major.

Stephen Horst, of Woodbine, will perform as Jasper in "The Mystery of Edwin Drood," at Grove City College, in Grove City, Pa.

Laura Tschirgi, of Ellicott City, will be a lead performer in "The Mystery of Edwin Drood," at Grove City College, in Grove City, Pa.
