Man stabbed several times on downtown street early Tuesday

Unidentified victim's condition not released

Baltimore city police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Tuesday in the downtown area.

A man, whose age and identity were not known, was stabbed multiple times in the 100 block of East Redwood Street at about 2:40 a.m. The spot is near the Bank of America building and about two blocks from the Inner Harbor.

He was taken to an area hospital. Investigators have not disclosed his condition.
