The National Weather Service is calling for Thursday to be rainy in the Baltimore area, with a high near 66 and west winds about 7 miles per hour. The chance of precipitation is 100 percent.

Thursday night is expected to be cloudy in the early evening and then clearing, with a low around 40 and north winds of 9 to 17 miles per hour. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

A freeze watch will be in effect for the northern portions of Baltimore and Harford counties late Thursday night.

A small craft advisory is in effect Thursday for the Maryland Chesapeake Bay south of North Beach and the lower tidal Potomac River. A small craft advisory is in effect Thursday night for the entire area.

Friday is expected to be partly sunny, with a high near 53 and north winds between 5 and 8 miles per hour.

Friday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 42 and light east winds. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
