The National Weather Service is calling for Wednesday to be mostly cloudy in the Baltimore area, with a high near 72 degrees and west winds of 7 to 9 miles per hour.

A small craft advisory is in effect through 8 p.m. for the Maryland Chesapeake Bay from North Beach to Smith Point and for the lower tidal Potomac River.

Wednesday night is expected to be cloudy and rainy, with a low around 56 and west winds around 6 miles per hour or less. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Thursday is expected to be rainy, with a high near 63 and light winds. The chance of precipitation is 90 percent.

Thursday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 42 and north winds between 11 and 16 miles per hour. The chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
