APG Federal Credit Union Honors Margaret Combs for 35 Years of Dedicated Service

In October, APG Federal Credit Union honored Margaret Combs, assistant vice president, I.T. project management, with an award presentation for 35 years of dedicated service to the credit union.

Combs leads project teams engaged in business process engineering, design/engineering of project specifications and the execution of strategic projects. She also works with cross-functional colleagues in the ongoing design and implementation of APGFCU business applications.

In 1976,Combs began her career at APGFCU as a mail and phone savings teller. From there, she was promoted to loan clerk, mail and phone clerk, loan interviewer, loan officer II, accounts control representative, accounts control officer, accounts control manager, lending branch manager, credit manager, project specialist, I.T. project manager and finally to her current role as assistant vice president, I.T. project management.

Combs is an integral part of the credit union's success and lives in Aberdeen.
