Baltimore County police are investigating the deaths of two elderly people found inside a White Marsh home Friday.

Firefighters, responding to a 2:46 p.m. call about an unconscious person, found John Lewis Sigmond, 85, and Margie Beatrice Sigmond, 84, dead of gunshot wounds in the living room of the single-family residence in the 10100 block of Bird River Road, east of Pulaski Highway and south of Ebenezer Road.

A note was left at the scene, and the deaths were an apparent murder-suicide, police said.
