A Severn man, who police say pretended to be a teenager online and solicited boys in their early teens for sex, was charged with multiple sex offenses Wednesday, according to a statement by Baltimore County police.

Brandon Henry Sukeforth, 22, was arrested last week after a woman discovered her 14-year-old son had been a party to suspicious messages and phone calls that prompted her to contact police, the statement said.

The messages and calls made the mother suspect her son was having sex with an adult man, police said.

Detectives confirmed sexual activity occurred between Sukeforth and the 14-year-old throughout September, police said.

There was also a second victim, a 13-year-old boy, who Sukeforth engaged in sexual contact with during February, police said.

Sukeforth created a Facebook profile with a fake name, "Brayden Clark (Brandon)," and used the email address itsbraydenn@gmail.com to communicate with victims, police said.

Sukeforth was charged with two counts of sexual solicitation of a minor, two counts of fourth-degree sex offense, two counts of third-degree sex offense, two counts of perverted practice and one count of second-degree sex offense, police said.

He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Detectives believe that there may be additional victims and are asking anyone with information to call the police at 410-307-2020.
