Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber hosts annual Government Procurement Fair

The Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber will hold its 20th annual Government Procurement Fair Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Greenbelt Marriott, 6400 Ivy Lane, in Greenbelt. Hosted by the BWCC's Government Contracting Committee, the fair will have more than 100 procurement specialists from as many as 50 federal, state and local government agencies, providing information, resources and guidance to small and minority businesses. Welcoming remarks will be made by Special Secretary Luwanda Jenkins of the Governor's Office of Minority Affairs. Registration is required in advance for one-on-one procurement counseling sessions offered by Base Business Initiative. Three seminars will be held on Base Business Initiative, Teaming Partnership and Cyber Trends in Government Contracting. Cost is $65 for BWCC members and $90 for non-members if pre-paid.
