College News: County scholars earn accolades

Becca Stanford, of Ellicott City, was honored at a Sept. 25 Induction Convocation as a new member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars at The College of William and Mary.

Jordan Hoshko, of Clarksville, was a member of the staff of Taps, the yearbook at Clemson University, in Clemson, S.C., which won a first-place Award of Recognition from the Printing Industries of America. Hoshko is a junior.

Aileen Gray, daughter of George and Beth Gray, of Eldersburg, has been recognized by Phi Beta Kappa for outstanding academic achievement in her first year at Washington College. Gray is an English major with a minor in creative writing.

Nkechi Onazi, of Ellicott City, has earned an Associate in Science in nursing from Excelsior College, in Albany, N.Y.
