Fire truck visit appreciated

At Children's Center of North Harford

October 13, 2011

The following was addressed to members of the Whiteford Volunteer Fire Company. A copy was provided for publication.

Thank you for again visiting with the nursery school children at the Children's Center of North Harford on Oct. 5 and 6.

The children and teachers thoroughly enjoyed your discussions, demonstrations and the opportunity to see and explore a fire engine.

Thank you for once again providing our young students with invaluable information regarding fire safety and prevention.

We believe, as you also do, that it is vitally important for young children to learn these lessons early in life, and you have continually provided this opportunity for the Children's Center's children for many, many years.

The teachers and aides at Children's Center of North Harford appreciate the time and efforts of your volunteers and value the commitment that the Whiteford Volunteer Fire Company consistently exhibits not only to our school, but also to the northern Harford County communities.
