Staff Q&A: Which wealthy person would you like to steal from?

October 04, 2011

In “Tower Heist,” opening Friday, a group devastated by a failed Ponzi scheme conspire to rob a businessman’s high-rise. In preparation for the new flick, we asked our staff which unsuspecting individual they would you like to steal from if they could.

•••• The corporate headquarters of Goldman Sachs. Luke Broadwater, reporter, The Baltimore Sun•••• I would steal Arianna Huffington’s accent. Wouldn’t that make a sparkling addition to the newsroom? No? OK. Anne Tallent, editor, b

•••• I’d steal from Kim Kardashian. No, not her money, but her heart. Once that divorce ink dries, I’m moving West for my own manifest destiny. Wesley Case, reporter, b

•••• I feel as though George Clooney would have really cool motorcycles and leather jackets. And that he would be nice about me taking them and then cook me a manly steak dinner with red wine from his estate in Italy. Jordan Bartel, assistant editor, b

•••• Scrooge McDuck. Since I was a little kid I’ve had fantasies about bathing in gold coins. This is probably one of those oversharing moments ... Jan Diehm, designer, b

•••• ANY CEO who has profited despite cutting his/her company’s work force. They make me sick. And I hope they get what’s coming to them. What goes around comes around. John-John Williams IV, reporter, The Baltimore Sun

•••• Donald Trump, only because he’s so annoying and arrogant!
 Mick Lee, Z104.3

•••• I would steal from Winona Ryder. She would probably be all, “That’s cool.”
