The unranked Mount Hebron boys soccer team capitalized on a scoring opportunity in the first half and took control in the second to upset No. 5 Reservoir, 2-1, on Tuesday.
The Vikings jumped out to a 1-0 lead eight minutes into the game before Curtis Kosmowski evened the score at the 12-minute mark. Mount Hebron scored the game-winner seven minutes into the second half and held on for the win.
No. 7 River Hill 3, Oakland Mills 0: David Kaiser scored twice to pace the visiting Hawks (7-1).
No. 12 Fallston 3, Patterson Mill 0: Robbie Kansler had three saves in his sixth shutout for the visiting Cougars (5-1-1). Kansler has 29 saves on the season. All three goals and three assists were recorded by different Fallston players.
No. 11 Bryn Mawr 1, Seton Keough 0: Maddie Stuzin scored the game-winner from 18 yards out on a pass from Riley Barger at the 15-minute mark of the second half for the visiting Mawrtians (6-2). Zoe Derrickson made three saves in the shutout for Bryn Mawr.
No. 6 River Hill 7, Oakland Mills 2: Sheridan Street scored twice to power the host Hawks (6-2) past the Scorpions.
Liz Bamber had two assists for River Hill, which led 5-1 at the half.
No. 9 Hereford 6, Loch Raven 0: Mary Claire Abbott had a hat trick, including two goals in the second half, for the host Bulls (7-0). Marissa Betsell (two saves) and Hannah Fizer (three saves) combined for the team's sixth shutout.
