Traffic: 3-vehicle accident on B-W Parkway at Beltway

No major delays to mass transit systems

As of 8 a.m., traffic was slow on the outer loop of the Baltimore Beltway near Belair Road, due to an accident.

Southbound lanes of I-895 were slow past Lombard Street, due to an accident involving two vehicles.

Accidents were blocking traffic on northbound Route 29 at I-70 in Howard County; Route 175 at Dobbin Road in Howard County, and Liberty Road at Lord Baltimore Drive in Baltimore County.

Traffic was blocked on Loyola-Southway near Greenspring Avenue, due to a downed utility pole.

Some streets around the Washington Monument in the 600 block of N. Charles St. were closed as part of preparations for this weekend's Baltimore Book Festival.

No major delays were reported on area mass transit systems.
