Accident on inner loop of the Baltimore Beltway at I-70

No major delays on mass transit systems

As of 9 a.m. Monday, traffic was slow on the inner loop of the Baltimore Beltway at I-70, due to an accident involving two vehicles.

Accidents were slowing traffic on northbound I-95 at Route 295, on Route 10 at Furnace Branch Road, and at 32^nd Street and Hillen Road.

Some streets around the Washington Monument in the 600 block of Charles St. are beginning to have lane closures in preparation for the Baltimore Book Festival this weekend.

There were no major delays reported on local mass transit systems.
