The "Frustrations over power are festering" article written by Steve Kilar and Liz F. Kay (Aug. 31) unfairly feeds and festers public anger against BGE. The biased writing caters to public approval while demeaning the very company that can and will help the public.
The bias is shown on page one by stating that "Only about 47,000 Marylanders had their power turned back on Tuesday"... and "230,000 remain" without power. The biased writers ignore, until page 14, that almost 80 percent of those who lost power were restored in just a few days. Instead of catering to a public lynch-mob-mentality, maybe the Sun writers could ask where the phone utility crews, cable utility crews, state and local highway crews are that should be helping to clean up the big Irene mess. My thanks go to BGE and out-of-state crews that risk there lives to help us turn on the lights.
