Columnists Mossburg and Zurawik should swap duties

August 19, 2011|By David Zurawik, The Baltimore Sun

Maybe you should let Marta Mossburg and David Zurawik switch places. Her over-the-top paranoid column today about kids television ("Children's TV: last bastion for liberal utopia," Aug. 17) is certainly more of a review of television than David Zurawik's column on Gov. Perry ("Rick Perry: And so, TV news begins the takedown of a new GOP candidate," Aug. 17). Why don't you make him a political columnist since he so clearly wants to be one. If you have to present the right wing babble, at least get some folks who can articulate a sensible position. Zurawik, by the way, is not a very good TV reviewer either.
