A man was killed in the unit block of Jack Pine Place in Baltimore County, police said Wednesday night.

A call about shots fired came in to police dispatch at about 9:15 p.m., said Det. Cathy Batton, a police spokeswoman, in a statement.

The man, who was about 20 years old, had been shot and was pronounced dead on the scene, she said.

The victim has not yet been identified, and there was no suspect information late Wednesday night, Batton said.

Police from multiple precincts are assisting in the search for the shooter, she said, and homicide detectives are investigating.

Jack Pine Place is a residential street in Nottingham near the intersection of White Marsh Boulevard and Interstate 695.
