The National Weather Service was calling for Tuesday to be partly sunny in the Baltimore area, with a high of 84 degrees and north winds of 7 to 14 miles per hour. There is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

A small craft advisory is in effect through mid-afternoon for the Maryland portion of the Chesapeake Bay.

Tuesday night was expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 70 and light north winds.

Wednesday was expected to be sunny, with a high near 88 degrees and winds of 6 miles per hour.

Wednesday night was expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low about 73 degrees and south winds about 7 miles per hour.
