Masked burglars rob McDonald's drive-through

Ellicott City

North Chatham Road, 3300 block, 7:39 p.m. Aug. 6. Two juvenile males assaulted victim in parking lot. Wallet stolen. Juveniles arrested.

Montgomery Road, 4300 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 5. Two people wearing hooded sweat shirts, face masks and gloves walked up to McDonald's drive-through window as teller opened drawer, pushed clerk and grabbed cash.

Elkridge/Jessup

Font Avenue, 5200 block, between 9 and 11 p.m. Aug. 5. Entry gained through unlocked basement door. Laptop and wallet stolen.

Savage/North Laurel

Laurel Road, 9500 block, between 4 p.m. Aug. 5 and 7:45 a.m. Aug. 8. Entry gained to portable classroom at Laurel Woods Elementary School by breaking two windows. Speaker stolen. Speaker recovered nearby.

Helmart Drive, 7900 block, 11:28 a.m. Aug. 7. Entry gained by breaking window.

Washington Boulevard, 7900 block, 4:22 a.m. Aug. 7. Entry gained to El Patio Restaurant by breaking glass door. Cigarettes stolen.

Wyndham Circle, 5800 block, 12:07 a.m. Aug. 7. Known suspect forced entry to residence, forced resident out and locked door. Suspect found asleep inside residence and arrested.

Washington Boulevard, 8200 block, 10:20 a.m. Aug. 6. Two known suspects gained entry through unsecured front door to confront victim about ongoing dispute. Suspects assaulted victim. Arrests made.

Chaton Road, 9500 block, 1:55 p.m. Aug. 5. Entry attempted by kicking in rear door. No entry gained.

Durness Lane, 9500 block, between 2 and 3 p.m. Aug. 4. Entry gained to vacant building through unlocked door. Interior vandalized.

Moonshine Hollow, 9000 block, between 7:14 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Aug. 4. Entry gained by forcing open front door. Television stolen.

All Saints Road, 9100 block, 3:29 a.m. Aug. 3. Entry gained to All Saints Liquors by breaking front glass door. Cigarettes and alcohol stolen.

Robinson Boulevard, 9900 block, 12:25 a.m. Aug. 3. Entry gained through window. Resident saw man leaving residence. Nothing stolen.

Country Meadows Lane, 9700 block, between 10:30 p.m. Aug. 2 and 6 a.m. Aug. 3. Entry gained though unsecured rear sliding glass door. Video game system, purse, wallet, sunglasses and jewelry stolen.

Washington Boulevard, 9700 block, 9:45 p.m. Aug. 2. Two people gained entry to room at Econo Lodge by unknown means and attempted to renew room key at front desk. Suspects arrested.

Vollmerhausen Road, 9100 block, 8:40 p.m. Aug. 2. Entry gained to Patuxent Valley Middle School by tampering with window. Nothing stolen.

Clarksville/Fulton

Hall Shop Road, 12900 block, 3:20 p.m. Aug. 8. Man observed naked in parking lot of Schooley Mill Park.

Wescott Place, 6900 block, between Aug. 2 and Aug. 3 (overnight). Entry gained to open garage. Vehicle entered. Nothing stolen.

Trotter Road, 6100 block, 5:29 p.m. Aug. 2. Entry attempted by prying garage door. No entry gained.

West County

Highland Road, 13100 block, between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m. Aug. 8. Entry gained through unsecured front door. Television, laptop and bicycle stolen.

Marriottsville Road, 2300 block, between 4 p.m. Aug. 6 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 8. Entry gained to Howard County Landfill by cutting chain from gate. Batteries stolen.

Ten Oaks Road, 3900 block, 4:25 a.m. Aug. 5. Two men observed running from Ten Oaks pharmacy after person heard glass break. Men drove away. Unknown if anything stolen.

Fairgrounds Road, 2200 block, between 4 p.m. Aug. 2 and 1 p.m. Aug. 3. 1984 Coach Motorhome stolen.

East Columbia

Sheerock Court, 5600 block, 8:39 p.m. Aug. 8. Entry attempted by tampering with door.

Majors Lane, 6100 block, between 12:01 and 5:30 a.m. Aug. 8. Entry gained through unsecured sliding glass door. Purse stolen. Keys used to unlock vehicle. Cash stolen from car.

Majors Lane, 6000 block, between 6 p.m. Aug. 7 and 9:55 a.m. Aug. 8. Black 2009 Suzuki DRZ400 stolen.

Majors Lane, 6000 block, between 9 p.m. Aug. 4 and 8 p.m. Aug. 8. Entry gained by breaking side window. Purses and video game system stolen.

Tamar Drive, 6300 block, between 7:30 p.m. Aug. 7 and 9 a.m. Aug. 8. Entry gained. Jewelry and laptop stolen.

Grapewine Court, 9200 block, 2:54 p.m. Aug. 7. Entry attempted by prying garage door. No entry gained.

Pinecone Row, 9400 block, 8:35 a.m. Aug. 7. Entry gained to unsecured vehicle in driveway. Garage door opener used to open garage. Three bicycles stolen, but two left in yard.

Humblebee Road, 5800 block, between 11:30 p.m. Aug. 6 and 12:12 a.m. Aug. 7. Entry gained through unsecured window. Nothing stolen.

Broken Land Parkway/Route 32, 10:57 p.m. Aug. 5. 1973 Ford pickup stolen.

Quarry Bridge Court, 9500 block, 1:54 p.m. Aug. 5. Red 2004 Honda CRX 250 dirt bike stolen.

Stevens Forest Road, 5800 block, 5:14 a.m. Aug. 3. Victims were waiting for a cab when two men approached, displayed guns and assaulted them. Cell phones and cash stolen. One man discharged weapon in unknown direction.
