The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible


Old Lyme Road, unit block, between 8:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Aug. 3. Jewelry and portable safe stolen from closet. Entry by breaking rear door.

York Road, 11200 block, between 4 and 4:15 a.m. Aug. 6. Man wearing black mask and gloves entered 7-Eleven through unlocked rear fire door and threatened clerk with baseball bat. Clerk put cash from register and five packs of Marlboro cigarettes into bag and gave it to intruder.

Gibbons Blvd., unit block, between 7 p.m. Aug. 5 and 2 p.m. Aug. 6. White flowerpot stolen from front yard.


West Seminary Ave., 300 block, between 7:30 and 8 a.m. Aug. 3. A 94-year-old resident of College Manor was injured when an employee took his wallet and pushed him to the ground after he refused to lend her money, according to police reports. Police later arrested Jazmine Graham, 22, of Essex and charged her with robbery, second-degree assault and theft.

Oak Farm Court, 600 block, at 12:45 a.m. Aug. 4. Man entered house through unlocked rear door, was confronted by homeowners and ran away.

East Aylesbury Road, unit block, at 6:45 p.m. Aug. 3. Barking dog scared off person who tried to enter by opening front door.

Jody Way, 300 block, between 7:30 p.m. Aug. 4 and 1:30 p.m. Aug. 5. Garage entered after side door broken. Attempt to enter house by breaking window on door from garage to house unsuccessful.


Leadburn Road, 1800 block, between 10:30 p.m. July 27 and 10:30 p.m., July 31. Diamond ring and laptop stolen from residence. Burglar entered through unlocked back door.

Bridgeman Terrace, 600 block, between 10 and 11:30 p.m. Aug. 1. Three rings, gold chain, two gold watches, Sony DVD player, Dell laptop, Apple iPod, Safe Strong Box containing $2,500, and personal items stolen from home. Door kicked in.

Bellona Avenue, 7600 block, between 9 p.m. Aug. 1 and 7:50 a.m. Aug. 2. $783 and DVR surveillance system stolen from Ruxton Car Care. Cables providing power to alarm and phone cut. Side door pried open.

Regester Avenue, 1100 block, between 10 a.m. July 26 and 8 p.m. Aug. 3. Man returned from vacation to find basement door forced open and $300 missing from safe.

Burke Avenue, unit block, at 2:10 a.m., Aug. 6. Two men attacked another man and stole his wallet and cell phone.
