The National Weather Service was calling for Monday to be mostly sunny in the Baltimore area, with a high near 94 degrees and northwest winds between 6 and 10 miles per hour. There is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m.

Monday night was expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 75 and north winds between 3 and 7 miles per hour.

Tuesday was expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 93 degrees and southeast winds between 3 and 8 miles per hour. There is a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m.

Tuesday night was expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 75 and north winds between 3 and 6 miles per hour. There is a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8 p.m.
