Baltimore Police Officer Daniel Redd, who was indicted last month on heroin conspiracy and gun charges, is looking for a way out of jail pending his trial.
His attorney filed court papers Monday in Baltimore U.S. District Court asking for a detention hearing "to consider whether conditions of release can be fashioned that will reasonably assure his appearance when required and the safety of the community."
