The College of Notre Dame of Maryland will hold an open house Tuesday, Aug. 9, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. for its Renaissance Institute. Located at 4701 N. Charles St., the Institute is a peer-taught organization for adults 50 and older who come together to share intellectual interests and make new friends.
Renaissance Institute Vice President Bob Fanto said participants will hear from the Institute president and executive director; learn what Renaissance is all about; and hear from six of their peers, who teach some of the courses. Attendees will also have the opportunity to join the organization.
