Gilchrist Hospice Care announced the appointment of two new board members:

Hugh W. Mohler, who currently serves in the Wealth Management area of Wells Fargo's Greater Maryland region and is the former president and chief executive officer of Bay National Corporation. He has more than four decades of experience in financial services, and has served on nonprofit and educational boards and served as capital campaign chairman for Coastal Hospice in Salisbury.

Ronald L. Eyre is the co-owner and president of Eyre Bus, Tour and Travel in Glenelg. Last year, he and his wife, Joanne, were co-chairs of the 2010 Taste and Auction of Howard County, Gilchrist's annual fundraiser at Turf Valley Resort. Eyre has been involved in the transportation industry for more than 40 years. He has served on various foundation, transportation and community boards. Eyre has served as chairman of the board of the American Bus Association and past president of the Maryland Travel Council and Maryland Bus Association.

Charlestown retirement community announced the hiring of Larry Snowberger as the new director of Dining Services.

Snowberger, of Hanover, has more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Since 2007, Snowberger served as the assistant director of Dining Services at Riderwood retirement community, located in Silver Spring.

As Dining Services director at Charlestown, Snowberger will supervise a staff of 400 employees, and he will oversee the operation of six on-campus restaurants. More than 2,000 meals are served to residents and staff every day.
