Susquehanna University, in Selinsgrove, Pa., announced that Morgan Jackson was inducted into the National Biological Honor Society. Jackson, a rising junior biology major, graduated from Catonsville High School in 2009. Her parents are Matthew and Denise Jackson.

Salisbury University announced that these Catonsville students received diplomas during a ceremony at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center:

John Cary, Bachelor of Science in physical education.

Michael Keenan, Bachelor of Science in biology.

Kaitlyn Phelps, Bachelor of Science in biology.

Jessie Redmon, Bachelor of Arts in communication arts, cum laude.

Stephanie Velky, Bachelor of Science in medical laboratory science.

John Kinally Jr., Bachelor of Science in accounting, magna cum laude.

Tyler Tracy, Bachelor of Arts in communication arts.

Anthony Tran, Bachelor of Science in computer science.

Amber Schmale, a 2003 graduate of Catonsville High School, graduated from Howard County Community College's nursing program. She is the daughter of David Schmale, who lives in Catonsville, and Lisa Schmale-Alvear, of Pasadena. Schmale has accepted a position at Harbor Hospital Center.

Dickinson College, in Carlisle, Pa., announced that Kathryn Langan, a rising sophomore neuroscience major, was on the dean's list for the spring semester. An alumna of Mount de Sales Academy, she is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Timothy Langan, who live in Catonsville.

Catonsville resident Elizabeth Parkerson graduated from West Virginia University, in Morgantown, with a Bachelor of Science inpsychology. Her sister, Emily Parkerson, achieved dean's list status for the spring semester at the university, where she majors in sports and exercise psychology.

Their parents are John and Kathy Parkerson.

Brian Silvia, of Catonsville, participated in Salisbury University's 10th annual Student Research Conference. Silvia presented "Visualizing 4-Dimensional Objects in 3-Dimensional Space."
