Anne Arundel police have identified a man who died Monday in a single-vehicle crash on Route 100 in Glen Burnie.

The victim was identified as Antoine Lamont McCray, 37, of the 7900 block of Shetlands Dell in Glen Burnie, police said Tuesday.

Officers from the Eastern District were called to the accident about 2:29 p.m. Monday, police said. Their initial investigation showed that McCray was driving westbound on Route 100 when he lost control of the 2003 GMC Envoy and veered onto the median. According to police, the vehicle rolled several times and the driver was thrown out. He was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he died.

According to investigators, speed does not appear to be a contributing factor to this crash, and it was unknown if alcohol or drugs were factors. The investigation is continuing.
