Teacher discounts at the Spa at Hotel Hershey

What's the deal: The Spa at Hotel Hershey is offering discounts on select treatments for teachers who need a little pampering before they head back to the classroom. On Mondays through Thursdays during August, educators can save on a relaxing 50-minute traditional massage or 60-minute personal prescription facial. For a daylong spa experience, guests can add lunch in the Oasis, the spa's exclusive dining room, for $15.

Visitors who are not teachers can enjoy a new citrus-themed seasonal offering called the "Summer Citrus Sensation Package." This 90-minute series of treatments, available in August only, includes a grapefruit mineral bath, grapefruit sugar body scrub and grapefruit hydrating body wrap. The package is $180 Mondays through Thursdays and $195 Fridays through Sundays.

What are the savings: About 10 percent. The massage is $99 (originally $105) and the facial is $105 (originally $115).

What's the catch: You have to be a teacher. To be eligible for this offer, guests must show a valid teacher ID card upon check-in at the spa's reception desk. Also, a 20 percent service charge will be added to the bill for all treatments. No substitutions are allowed, and treatments must be scheduled in advance.

Information: The Spa at Hotel Hershey is celebrating its 10th anniversary throughout the year. Go to chocolatespa.com or call 877-772-9988 to make reservations.
