No Child Left Behind: bipartisan, but still a dumb law

I like how you characterize the "No Child Left Behind Act" as a "Bush-era" law, without mentioning that Sen. Ted Kennedy helped shepherd the measure through Congress with bipartisan support ("A failing law," July 19).

But you guys would never admit to criticizing something Ted Kennedy did, would you?

I have always thought, along with most of my teacher friends, that NCLB was a dumb law regardless of which political parties were involved.
