Towson area crime log

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible

Cockeysville

Warren Lodge Court, unit block, between 5:30 and 7 a.m. July 14. A purse with money, iPhone, camera, wallet and keys stolen while occupants slept. Entry by cutting screen on rear window.

Tradewind Circle, unit block, between 6:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. July 13. Satellite dish stolen from pole in yard.

Timonium

Greenspring Drive, 1900 block, between 2:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. July 17. Cash stolen from register and ATM machine destroyed at Red Zone Adventures. Phone and alarm lines cut, door pried open.

East Ridgely Road, 100 block, 10:41 p.m. July 15. Alarm at Ridgely Middle School sounded and three males were seen on video inside school. Police detained three males outside the school, but security revealed that their clothes didn't match the video, so they were released. Unknown if anything missing or destroyed.

Towson

Pleasant Plains Road, 8600 block, between 3 p.m. July 13 and 7 a.m. July 14. Toolbox at construction site damaged in apparent attempt to pry open. Nothing stolen.

Sherwood Road, 6300 block, between 10 p.m. July 12 and 11 a.m. July 13. Bottom of front door damaged at Pizza City in apparent attempt to pry door open. Nothing stolen.

East Joppa Road, 1500 block, between 7:30 p.m. July 12 and 7:15 a.m. July 13. Cash stolen from register at Monro Muffler. Front door glass broken.

East Joppa Road, 1700 block, between 6:30 p.m. July 12 and 7 a.m. July 13. Cash stolen from register at Savco Muffler and Brakes. Front door glass broken.

Fairmount Avenue, 900 block, between 1 p.m. July 8 and noon July 10. Two white gold rings stolen from residence. One with circular diamond and long, narrow emeralds on sides. Other with marquis-cut diamond surrounded by four circular diamonds.
