What would be your wedding gift for Roethlisberger and his bride?

July 18, 2011|By Robbie Levin

Football fans have waited all summer, and this weekend it should finally happen. We’re talking about Ben Roethlisberger’s wedding, of course. This Saturday in Pittsburgh, Big Ben is set to tie the knot with Ashley Harlan, a native of New Castle, Pa., who works in the Cardiac Surgery Department of Presbyterian Hospital.

For those of you who missed out on the opportunity to buy Joe Flacco a wedding gift, now is your chance to make up for it by getting the Steelers quarterback a gift. Roesthlisberger and Harlan are asking for the Martha Stewart Collection Wood Serving Bowl and the Microplane Ultimate Citrus Tool, among other things.

Looking at their Macy’s wedding registry, it’s apparent that Roesthlisberger and Harlan are big fans of Nambé, a modern design company well-known for its unique kitchenware. For those who don’t know, Nambé itself is a metal composed mostly of aluminum, which keeps hot dishes hot and cold dishes cold.

There have also been fake wedding registries created with awesome ideas like High Strength Stainless Steel Handcuffs and the complete Grey’s Anatomy collection. But let’s be honest, Roethlisberger has probably already watched seasons 1-6.

So what would be your wedding gift for Roethlisberger and Harlan?
