Man dies after being shot multiple times in W. Baltimore

Man shot in West Baltimore Friday afternoon

A man died after being shot multiple times near the intersection of N. Franklintown Road and W. Baltimore St. shortly before 2 p.m. Friday, said Detective Jeremy Silbert, a spokesman for city police.

The adult male was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2:20 p.m., Silbert said.

More than one person may have been involved in the shooting, which took place in the Shipley Hill neighborhood of West Baltimore, Silbert said. No other information was available Friday night.
