Long Island Lizards midfielder Stephen Peyser (Johns Hopkins) scored the game-winning goal with 2:49 remaining in the fourth quarter as Team Warrior rallied to edge Team Authority by a 21-20 margin in front of an announced 11,186 at the Major League Lacrosse All-Star Game on Saturday night at Harvard Stadium in Cambridge, Mass. It marked the third straight year that the All-Star Game was decided by a single point. He scored five goals, including an All-Star Game-record three 2-point goals, and added an assist.

Saturday's WNBA: The Washington Mystics lost, 68-57, to the host Indiana Fever despite 12points from Nicky Anosike and 11 from Marissa Coleman (Maryland). The Mystics have lost three in a row and seven of their past eight. … Seventeen points from Kristi Toliver (Maryland) weren't enough as the visiting Los Angeles Sparks lost, 99-80, to the Seattle Storm. … Angel McCoughtry (St. Frances) had 17points, eight rebounds and six assists, but the visiting Atlanta Dream lost, 81-69, to the Chicago Sky.

Saturday's MLS: Midfielder Dwayne DeRosario scored against his former team in the 61st minute, lifting D.C. United to a 1-0 victory over host Red Bull New York. De Rosario, a two-time MLS Cup Most Valuable Player acquired June 27 for midfielder Dax McCarty, took a through ball from forward Josh Wolff and ripped a shot past goalkeeper Greg Sutton that struck the post and went in.
