Baltimore Avenue, 14100 block, June 27. Money stolen from victim after he met man who said he could get him discount on two electronic items at store. Victim gave man $4,000 for items but man fled through rear door of business.

Fort Meade Road, 200 block, June 30. Cricket cell phone, driver's license, Social Security card and bank card stolen from locker at Sport Fit.

Baltimore Avenue, 14700 block, June 29. Baltimore man, 45, arrested and charged with shoplifting at Burlington Coat Factory. Clothing and shoes were taken and recovered

Phillip Court, 14600 block, June 29. Four Dub wheels, Garmin GPS system, iPod, Kicker speakers and Zune MP3 player stolen from parked SUV.

Harvest Bend Lane, 8200 block, June 28. Entry gained through window. Lifestyle 32-inch flat-screen television, LG flat-screen television, LG flat-screen television and Acer laptop computer taken.

Baltimore Avenue, 14700 block, June 27. Credit card stolen and used to purchase gasoline.

Fairlawn Avenue, 1000 block, June 27. Twelve containers of Tide laundry soap stolen from Giant Food by male..

Freestate Road, 8800 block, 12:10 a.m. July 4. Suspects arrested after attempt to gain entry to a Chevrolet Suburban at Carmax.

Washington Boulevard, 8600 block, 5:50 a.m. July 3. Attempted theft of vehicle.

Thamesmeade Road, 9000 block, between 2 a.m. June 30 and 1:30 p.m. July 1. Entry gained. Jewelry stolen. No signs of forced entry.

Savage Guilford Road, 7900 block, between 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. June 30. Entry gained through rear door by breaking glass panel. Television, video game systems, laptops and tablet computer stolen.

Stebbing Way, 9100 block, Orange 2009 Suzuki GSXR600 stolen.

Gross Avenue, 9200 block, 10:20 p.m. June 28. Vehicle ignition tampered with.

Washington Boulevard, 2:30 p.m. June 28. 2006 Suzuki GSXR 600 stolen.

Glen Ridge Drive, 9400 block, 1:15 p.m. June 28. Entry gained. Victim returned home and interrupted suspects, who fled. Two cameras and MP3 player stolen.

Anne Arundel County

Laurel Fort Meade Road, 3400 block, 9 p.m. June 27. Laurel man observed rolling suspected marijuana cigarette was found with nine baggies of suspected crack cocaine individually wrapped for sale, estimated street value of $180, and a switchblade knife. Darnell Mark Riddles, 25, of Washington Boulevard, in Laurel, arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of a concealed deadly weapon.

Brock Bridge Road, 400 block, 9:48 p.m. July 1. Two males, who left a meeting with a man after he produced a hand gun, reported shots were fired. No injuries.

Whiskey Bottom Road, 8:07 p.m. July 3. Driver failed to stop in attempted driver's license check, came to abrupt stop near Winding Trail and drove toward police officer as he approached the car. Driver crossed Route 1 into Howard County, losing control at 9200 Whiskey Bottom Road, then fled on foot before being apprehended by Howard County Police near Super 8 Motel on Route 1. Anthony Danero Thomas, 24, of Mount Ranier, arrested and charged for multiple traffic-related offenses including driving without a license and failure to stop upon approach by police vehicle using signals.
